When Tomorrow Doesn’t Come: Eternity Will Come! Eternity Is Coming!
Christ secured a path back to God, teaching us to ready ourselves for eternity. While humans prepare for life’s many events, the most crucial preparations are for an eternal peace with God. Everything on earth is temporary, but eternity lasts forever, as God exists without beginning or end. A day will come when tomorrow does not arrive, whether for each person or for the end of time with Jesus’ return. Christ promised to return for His Bride, the Church, which He redeemed with His blood on Calvary’s cross. He lived among humanity, providing hope, faith, and love. Eternity awaits after this life, both individually and collectively. No one knows the day or hour except the Father. Humanity’s role is to be prepared for that day by obeying the gospel and living according to Christ’s teachings. It is essential to “Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and its righteousness,” [Matthew 6:33a). Should tomorrow not arrive, eternity still approaches. Eternity is imminent, and Christ holds our eternity in His hands.
